We have had a busy month of September here at the Highlands Chapter and we are only half way through it! Below is a partial list of some of the wonderful community events we were able to participate in and some fun events coming up for the rest of the month!

82nd Airborne Safety Stand Down: What a BUSY and FUN event! We loved being able to pass out snacks courtesty of Frito Lay and share much needed Hurricane Safety, CPR/First Aid and Disaster Information!
Fort Bragg Area Army Officer's Spouses Club: We were thrilled to parter with our Ft. Bragg ARC Station to share information to our military families!
Operation Home Front 2nd Annual Freedom Walk at Methodist University: This annual walk is in remembrance of 9/11 Families and Victims and ARC passed out Health and Safety and Disaster Information along with 9/11 Commemortive Pins!
Uniformed Services and Volunteers Appreciation Day in Sampson County: A community event honor our service members and volunteers, the Highlands Chaper was there passing out Service to Armed Forces and Health and Safety Information. A few lucky particpants went home with ARC mouse pads, lanyerds and 911 Commemortive Pins!
9/19 at the 71st Ruritan Club in Fayetteville: We will be passing out information about WHO we are, WHERE we are and WHAT we do in our community!
9/22 Massey Hill Classical High School: Will be passing our information to students about WHO we are, WHERE we are and WHAT we do in our community! We hope to have our ARC Youth Club up and running soon!
9/23 Retired Senior Volunteer Program: ARC is looking for our next Volunteer of the Year! Are you it? Come and find out more information!
9/24 Fourth Friday Downtown Fayetteville: We are camped outside the Arts Council and would love for you to stop by!
9/28 Highlands Chapter Blood Drive: 1:30pm - 6:00pm at 807 Carol Street come by and donate your blood to help save a life! Call for more information: 910-867-8151
